About the Role
Big Box Cars is looking for a motivated Trainee Vehicle Buyer to join our growing buying team in Salisbury.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a salesperson or automotive qualified looking to upskill and build a long-term career in vehicle buying.
You'll learn how to identify, value and purchase quality vehicles while working alongside an experienced buying team.
What you'll be doing
- Source and identify opportunities to purchase quality vehicles
- Build relationships with customers and external leads
- Conduct vehicle valuations and negotiate purchases
- Manage the vehicle purchasing process from enquiry to completion
- Complete purchasing paperwork and administration
- Work with the wider team to achieve buying targets
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
- Confident communicating and building rapport
- Comfortable making outbound calls and negotiating
- Passionate about cars and the automotive industry
- Customer-focused with strong attention to detail
- Motivated to learn and develop
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- QLD Motor Salesperson Licence
- Open C Class Driver Licence
Previous vehicle buying experience is not required — we'll provide the training you need to succeed.
