Accounts Payable Officer

- $40 - $45 per hour + super | Sydney CBD - Hybrid with 2 days WFH

Responsibilities:

- Process high-volume supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare and review payment runs, ensuring correct coding and approvals
- Maintain vendor records, new supplier setups and account details
- Liaise with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve payment and invoice queries
- Support EFT payments, reconciliations and vendor verification processes




- Ensure compliance with internal controls, statutory requirements and company policies
- Contribute to process improvements and provide broader support to the finance team as required

Requirements

- Previous experience in an Accounts Payable position

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
- Strong problem-solving capability
