Based in Yagoona, NSW, Galserv is one of Australia's largest hot-dip galvanisers and is part of the NEPEAN Building & Infrastructure group. Our facility services major construction, infrastructure, mining and industrial projects throughout Australia.

We are currently seeking a highly organised and motivated Production Coordinator to join our operations team and play a critical role in coordinating workflow, resources and customer delivery requirements across our busy galvanising plant.

About the Role

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating production schedules, monitoring job progress and ensuring customer commitments are delivered safely, efficiently and on time.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in manufacturing, production, scheduling or industrial operations who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate daily production schedules and workflow priorities.
- Monitor job progress through the galvanising process.
- Liaise with customers, transport providers and internal departments.
- Coordinate labour and resource allocation to meet production demands.
- Assist with planning and scheduling incoming and outgoing work.
- Maintain accurate production records and reporting.
- Track customer orders and delivery commitments.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement solutions.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental standards.

About You





To be successful, you will have:

- Previous experience in a Production Coordinator, Production Planner, Manufacturing Coordinator or similar role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Commitment to workplace safety and operational excellence.

Desirable

- Experience working within manufacturing, steel, galvanising, fabrication, industrial or engineering environments.
- Experience using ERP or production management systems.
- Understanding of production scheduling and logistics coordination.
