Our client, The Furniture Trader, is currently seeking an experienced full time Retail Manager to oversee its retail operations. The position offers an annual salary of $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience.

Located in Hoppers Crossing, Victoria, The Furniture Trader is a family-owned furniture retailer offering an extensive range of well-designed, on-trend and high-quality furniture to its customers.

Key responsibilities include:

· Managing furniture ranges, stock levels and customer service standards.

· Setting product pricing and coordinating purchasing and marketing activities.

· Promoting furniture collections, special offers and showroom products.

· Assisting customers with furniture selection, features and product suitability.

· Maintaining accurate stock, sales and financial transaction records.





· Preparing store budgets and monitoring operating costs and sales performance.

· Recruiting, training, rostering and supervising retail staff.

· Ensuring showroom operations comply with workplace health and safety requirements.

· Managing furniture displays and maintaining an organised, appealing showroom.

· Monitoring sales trends and customer demand to support stock decisions.

· Coordinating customer orders, deliveries, returns and after-sales enquiries.

Qualifications:

· Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business or a relevant field.

· Must have at least one (1) year of experience as a Retail Manager in Australia.

Note: Australian citizens and permanent residents are preferred.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
