Our client Aujla Family Trust is seeking a capable and organised Fleet Manager to oversee transport vehicle operations, coordinate fleet-related activities and support the effective movement of vehicles and goods.
Position: Fleet Manager, Full Time , Permanent
Location: 75 Ponting Circuit, Pallara QLD 4110
Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 per annum + superannuation
Key Responsibilities
Organising the purchase, servicing and maintenance of transport vehicles, equipment and fuel supplies.
Liaising with clients to understand their transport requirements and providing advice regarding vehicle types, purchase or hire rates, contractual obligations and related matters.
Managing customer enquiries and complaints in a qualified manner.
Receiving transport orders and bookings and developing appropriate transportation schedules.
Planning and coordinating transport activities to ensure operational requirements are met.
Ensuring goods are stored and transported under suitable conditions to preserve their quality.
Arranging the collection and delivery of vehicles and goods.
Maintaining accurate business and operational records.
Preparing operational statements and reports relating to fleet and transport activities.
Coordinating activities associated with the arrival, departure, loading and unloading of trains.
Ensuring fleet and transport operations comply with applicable occupational health and safety requirements.
Qualifications and Experience
Applicants should have:
A relevant qualification in Transport Management, Logistics, Business Management, Fleet Management or a related field will be highly regarded.
1–3 years of relevant experience in fleet management, transport operations, logistics or a similar role.
