Role Description the Health Safety Environment Advisor is a Casual, in office role based in NT2 &2 roster. This role focuses on supporting clients in identifying workplace hazards, conducting health and safety inspections, and recommending corrective actions to manage risk. Day-to-day tasks include developing and updating HSE policies and procedures, conducting audits and incident investigations, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and standards. The Advisor will deliver safety training, toolbox talks, and coaching to workers and supervisors, and will collaborate with management teams to implement continuous improvement initiatives. The role also involves preparing reports, maintaining documentation,



and providing clear, professional advice to stakeholders on health, safety, and environmental matters.

Key Responsibilities
Lead ICAM investigations from notification through to report and recommendations
Cert 4 WH&S; or above
Manage hazard and event records in INX, or similar and follow actions through to closure
Complete workplace inspections, audits and verification of critical controls
Support the Mine Safety Management System, including procedures, risk assessments and management plans
Work with contractors to confirm their safety systems and monitor activity on site

About You
At least Three years in a similar health and safety advisory role in mining
Exposure across surface mining operations, with construction experience highly regarded
An ICAM qualification and real experience leading investigations
A health and safety qualification such as a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
A current West Australian C Class (manual) driver's licence and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance for site access clearance
Contractors' role only must have an ABN

Pay: $80.00 – $90.00 per hour

Expected hours: 84.0 per week
