Miss Frank is a neighbourhood cafe with a loyal crew of regulars. Many of them we know by name, by order, and by what's going on in their week. We take our coffee seriously, but what keeps people coming back is the feeling of walking into a place where they're known.

The role
We're looking for an experienced barista to join our team on a casual or part-time basis. You'll be on the machine during busy periods, but you'll also be a big part of how our customers experience Miss Frank, from the first "morning!" to remembering that someone's switched to oat this week.

What you'll be doing
Making consistently outstanding espresso-based coffee and filter during peak service
Dialling in and maintaining grind and extraction throughout the day
Building rapport with our regulars and making new faces feel welcome
Keeping the bar clean, stocked and running smoothly
Helping out on the floor and register when needed





What we're looking for
At least [1–2] years of barista experience in a busy cafe
Solid milk texturing and latte art, with speed and consistency under pressure
Genuine warmth and a natural chattiness. You enjoy talking to people, not just serving them.
A good memory for faces and orders (or a willingness to build one)
Reliability and a positive attitude when it gets busy

Pay: $26.44 – $48.35 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 38.0 per week
