We are seeking compassionate, experienced and reliable Disability Support Workers to provide high-quality in-home care across Prahran, Glen Iris and surrounding suburbs.
We have a range of clients and support requirements, including some roles supporting people living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND). MND experience is required for some client assignments and is highly regarded but is not essential for all positions.
The Prospect
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Disability Support Worker (DSW) to support clients in
Location: Portsea
Shifts: Weekdays / Evenings & Overnights 5pm onwards
Start: Immediate start preferred
Experience: Must have experience as a DSW working with NDIS clients with MND
Must be confident working with clients with complex care needs and behaviours of concern.
Training:
Must have experience in NIV Management, PEG Feeding , Manual Handling and Medication Assistance
Must be available for minimum 4 days of the week
Responsibilities:
Personal care (toileting & showering assistance)
Cooking and cleaning
Community access and engagement
Manual handling
Medication assistance
Ideal Candidate:
Enthusiastic, reliable, and compassionate
Strong understanding of person-centred care
Confident working with complex support needs
Experience with manual handling (Hoists, slide sheets)
