Bookkeeper

Full Time/Permanent Position

We are looking for an experienced and reliable bookkeeper to join our growing forklift business, with an immediate start date if possible.

This is a hands on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a small, fast paced workplace, is highly organised, can confidently manage day to day bookkeeping requirements with accuracy and attention to detail.

About the Role

Working closely with the business owners and team, you will be responsible for a range of bookkeeping and administrative tasks, including:

· Day to day bookkeeping and financial administration

· Payroll and superannuation processing

· Accounts payable

· Bank reconciliations and transaction processing

· Invoicing and payment allocation

· Maintaining accurate financial records

· General administrative support as required

About You

· We are looking for someone who:

· Has previous bookkeeping experience, preferably within a small business

· Is comfortable working in a fast paced, hands on environment

· Has strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

· Can work independently and manage competing priorities

· Is reliable, proactive and takes ownership of their work





· Has good communication and interpersonal skills

· Is confident with accounting and bookkeeping processes

Experience in the automotive, machinery, transport or equipment industry would be advantageous, but is not essential

Must be an permanent resident or citizen with full working rights in Australia

Software Requirements

Xero experience is essential. Applicants should have demonstrated experience using accounting/bookkeeping software for tasks such as invoicing, bank reconciliations and accounts payable reporting. Microsoft Excel knowledge will also be required, along with the ability to learn other programs going forward.
