We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced House Manager to join our team and manage one of our Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes.

Position Overview:

Team Leader will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the SIL home, ensuring that participate receive personalised care and support in accordance with their NDIS plans. This role involves managing staff, maintaining the home environment, and fostering a positive, supportive community for our residents.

Candidate must posses:

Robust leadership skills
Experience Managing SIL Home
Experience working with complex needs participants

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the delivery of personalised support plans for residents
Recruit, train, and supervise support staff
Manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage
Ensure compliance with NDIS standards and regulations
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Manage household supplies and maintenance
Facilitate regular meetings with staff




Develop and implement programs and activities that promote residents' well-being
Foster a positive and inclusive community atmosphere

Qualifications:
Previous experience in disability support and in a managerial role
Robust leadership and team management skills
Excellent organisational and time-management abilities
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
Compassionate and empathetic approach to care
Understanding of NDIS policies and procedures
Current Police Check
Workers Screening Check
Working with Children Check
Certificate III in Individual Support/ Certificate IV in Disability or equivalent
Current First Aid/CPR
NDIS Worker Orientation Modules
