A large scale mixed farm, running cattle, sheep and cropping operations. Located 2hrs North of Adelaide in the Mid North of SA. This is a diverse agriculture business with up-to-date & productive farming & livestock practices.

The Position

We are looking for 2 enthusiastic, team oriented stationhands to join our team and support the farm manager in the operations of our mixed farming property. Desirable minimum of 3 years experience with an opportunity for career development in taking on potential leadership roles. Experience working farming land with sound understandings of animal husbandry, cattle & sheep. Demonstrated experience and knowledge in vehicle maintenance, including plant and equipment ( yards, water points, fencing & machinery). A strong communicator with interpersonal skills. The ability to lead in managers absence. The ability to use work based apps and platforms ( GPS, Ag apps ). Current car licence essential. Working dogs, Motorbike & HR licence advantageous or a willingness to aquire.

Skills and experience




Previous experience operating broad acre equipment is desirable, (training will be provided)
Livestock handling & general farm maintenance skills.
Demonstrate a good interest in Sheep, Cattle and cropping operations.
Able to ride 2 Wheel motorbike confidently, license advantage or willing to acquire.
Commit to safe work practices and highest animal welfare standards
Current drivers licence and vehicle
Truck licence minimum of HR (advantage) or willingness to acquire
Good communication skills, team player, hard working, trustworthy, & positive attention to detail.
Minimum of 3 years experience in station hand.
Mechanical knowledge and machinery maintenance
Excellent location in the Mid North, close to major towns.
