About the role

This is a full-time, hands-on role combining current business development, quoting and client relationship management / account management located in Carrum Downs.

You'll manage warm inbound sales enquiries while also proactively driving new business through networking, exhibitions, referrals and industry relationships.

Generally the role involves:
Spending one to two days each week visiting customers, using a company vehicle, to strengthen relationships and identify sales opportunities.
Spending the remainder of the week in the office preparing quotes,



responding to customer enquiries and managing accounts.
Managing and growing existing customer accounts.
Working with internal teams to clearly define customer requirements and ensure a smooth project handover.
Keeping CRM records and the sales pipeline accurate and up to date.
Sharing customer needs with the sales and project teams to help develop suitable solutions.

About you

We’re looking for a Business Development Manager or sales qualified with experience in the logistics or warehousing industry who enjoys being involved in the full sales process, from visiting customers and identifying opportunities to preparing quotes and managing ongoing accounts.

With a mix of time on the road and in the office, this role will suit someone who enjoys building relationships, growing business and staying hands on with day to day customer needs.
