About the role
Represent Choyces with credibility and influence, advocating for children and families across the Peel region and Western Australia.
This is a pivotal leadership role for a CEO who can combine vision and strategy with strong organisational discipline and execution. Working closely with an established and cohesive Board, the CEO will drive the implementation of the Strategic Plan and lead a passionate and committed team that creates powerful community outcomes.
Key responsibilities
Deliver on the outcomes of the Strategic Plan
Lead and develop the workforce, fostering a positive, high-performing culture
Strengthen organisational governance, risk management and safety frameworks
Position for long-term sustainability through sound financial management, business development and diversification of revenue streams
Guide the development and delivery of safe, high-quality and creative services
Use influence to positively position the organisation with stakeholders and partners
About you
Significant senior leadership experience, preferably within the not-for-profit, community services sectors
A solid understanding of the issues impacting children and young families
Demonstrated financial and commercial capability
A track record of strengthening governance, risk management and organisational systems
The ability to build trusted relationships and influence a diverse range of stakeholders
Strong leadership skills with the ability to create a culture of collaboration, innovation and continuous improvement
A genuine commitment to improving outcomes for children, young people and families
Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, social services, community services or a related discipline
