Job Vacancy: Bakery Dispatch Assistant - Get Slicing and Packing!

Are you an evening person with an eye for detail and a knack for speed? Do you love the smell of fresh bread? We're looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Dispatch Assistant to join our busy bakery team!

This isn't just a packing job-you'll be the final touchpoint, ensuring our delicious bread and baked goods make it from the oven to our customers perfectly, every time.

What You'll Be Doing:
Bread Slicing: Operating and maintaining bread slicing machinery to prepare loaves for wholesale and retail orders.
Order Picking & Packing: Accurately and efficiently picking, counting, and packing a variety of bakery products according to daily dispatch lists.
Quality Control: Performing final checks on all products and orders to ensure quality and correctness before they leave the premises.
Preparation: Assisting with general dispatch area duties, including labelling, preparing packaging materials, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Heavy Lifting:



Occasional lifting of full crates of products (must be able to lift up to 15kg safely).

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:
Reliable & Punctual: Our dispatch runs on a tight morning schedule, so excellent attendance is non-negotiable.
Detail-Oriented: You have a sharp focus on accuracy, ensuring the right product gets to the right customer.
Physically Fit: Capable of standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks in a quick-paced workplace.
Team Player: Able to work well with others in a close-knit team.
Experience is a Bonus: Previous experience in a food production, warehouse, or dispatch role is highly regarded, but we're willing to train the right candidate!
