As Service Manager, you will oversee the day-to-day operation of our service department, working closely with our mechanics, customers, parts department and management team. This is a hands-on management role requiring strong organisation, communication and leadership skills. You will be responsible for coordinating workshop workflow, allocating jobs, monitoring progress and ensuring customers are kept informed throughout the repair and service process.
Key responsibilities
Manage and support our team of mechanics and service staff
Allocate and schedule jobs to maximise workshop productivity
Create, manage and finalise job cards accurately
Monitor jobs and workshop workflow to ensure work progresses on time
Communicate with customers regarding bookings, repairs, approvals and job completion
Manage customer concerns professionally and efficiently
Create, follow up and complete warranty jobs
Liaise with manufacturers and suppliers regarding warranty claims
Ensure workshop OHS requirements and company safety procedures are followed
Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop

An experienced leader with solid people-management skills

Confident communicating with customers and staff
Experienced with workshop/service workflows and job management
Safety focused with a good understanding of OHS requirements
Comfortable handling warranty processes and administration
