Role Description This is a remote contract role for a Video Editor at Socialgasm. In this position, you will edit short-form and long-form video content for social platforms, including reels, content, and performance-led ads.

You will collaborate with strategists, creatives, and marketers to refine storylines, integrate branding elements, and adapt footage to platform-specific formats. Daily tasks include assembling raw footage, syncing audio, adding graphics and motion elements, applying color grading, and preparing multiple versions for testing and optimization. You will also maintain organized project files, follow brand guidelines,



and deliver high-quality content on tight timelines.

Qualifications
Candidates should possess solid skills in Video Editing and Video Production for social-first content.
Candidates should possess skills in Video Color Grading to ensure visual consistency and brand alignment.
Candidates should possess skills in Motion Graphics and Graphics for titles, overlays, and social-friendly visual elements.
Proficiency with industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar) and motion tools (e.g., After Effects) is beneficial.
Experience editing content for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok,, and other social channels is preferred.
Solid sense of pacing, storytelling, and sound design, with attention to detail and quality control.
Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines reliably.
Please share prior experience in a creative agency or social media-focused workplace is a plus; a portfolio or showreel showcasing relevant work.
