We’re looking for a Site Foreman for Brisbane-based residential construction projects. You’ll coordinate day-to-day site operations and work with the Project Manager to keep construction secure, organised and on programme.
Key responsibilities
Coordinate subcontractors, trades, deliveries and materials
Plan daily activities and monitor progress against the construction programme
Read drawings and specifications, raising queries when needed
Check workmanship and identify quality issues early
Monitor site safety and support compliance with WHS requirements
Maintain site records and report progress, delays and issues to the Project Manager
Coordinate defect rectification and support project handover
About you
At least five years’ experience in residential construction
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
Practical understanding of construction sequencing, quality and site safety
Transparent communication and the ability to coordinate trades effectively
An organised, hands-on approach to resolving site issues
White Card, a current driver’s licence and Australian work rights
A trade qualification, particularly carpentry, is preferred
Knowledge of contract administration (CA) in residential construction is preferred
