About the role The Junior contracts administrator provides project support to Project Managers in our architectural door hardware division, assisting with importing schedules, procurement, invoicing, project documentation, and general office administration. The role requires solid attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work with multiple computer systems, door hardware schedules, specifications, and supplier information and quotations. The position has room for growth and the company has strong career path prospects for candidates that want to grow in services within the booming QLD building and security industries.

Key responsibilities
Prepare and maintain project files, documentation, and records
Maintain accurate filing systems, both electronic and hard copy
Assist with document control for projects and use AI where appropriate to be smart about use of data and knowledge to be productive
Invoice and email customers to update them on their projects
Prepare delivery dockets using Simpro job management software




Assist in preparing large project quotations for customers and help them with timelines
Enter door hardware schedules and revisions into company systems
Produce door by door packing paperwork and labels from scheduling system and coordinate packing by team
Review specifications, drawings, and schedules for door handing
Liaise with suppliers regarding pricing and product availability

About you
Previous administration experience
Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite with intermediate Excel experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Reliable and professional
Problem-solving mindset
Ability to work independently and within a team
Willingness to learn technical door hardware products and systems
