You will be responsible for running the Financial Planning division with a high degree of autonomy, establishing, growing and leading the Financial Planning division alongside an established accounting firm. You will have access to the broader Powell Enterprises client base, brand, skilled network and business infrastructure while having the freedom to run the financial planning operation.
Key responsibilities
Managing and advising financial planning clients
Developing relationships with existing Powell Enterprises clients
Converting qualified internal referrals into long-term advice relationships
Building recurring financial planning revenue
Establishing and maintaining appropriate advice, compliance and client-service processes
Helping shape the strategy and future direction of the division
Ultimately building a team around the division as it grows
About you
Existing AFSL/licensing structure enabling you to provide financial advice independently
Current registration and ability to provide personal financial advice in Australia
Strong technical financial planning knowledge
Demonstrated experience managing your own client relationships
Solid commercial and business-development ability
Excellent compliance history
Ability to operate independently and take ownership of the division
Solid communication skills and the ability to work closely with accountants and business owners
Experience advising business owners, investors and high-net-worth clients will be highly regarded
An existing client base or established recurring advice book would be highly attractive but is not essential
