About the Role
Sea Shells Cafe and Restaurant is looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Barista / All-Rounder to join our team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys working with customers, preparing coffee and supporting the team across front-of-house and general cafe duties.
Training will be provided to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages.
Operate and maintain the coffee machine and coffee station.
Take customer orders and process payments.
Provide friendly and qualified customer service.
Serve food and beverages to customers.
Assist with clearing and cleaning tables.
Keep the cafe, service areas and coffee station clean and organised.
Assist with basic food preparation when required.
Support the kitchen and front-of-house team during busy periods.
Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety requirements.
Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
About You
Previous barista or hospitality experience is preferred but not essential.
Basic coffee knowledge is an advantage, but training will be provided.
Friendly and confident communication skills.
Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Comfortable working in a busy environment.
Willing to learn and assist with different cafe duties.
