Role Description The Audiovisual Service Department Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in North Geelong, VIC. This role oversees the daily operations of the AV service department, including scheduling and coordinating service calls, managing technicians, and ensuring efficient resolution of client issues. The manager will monitor system performance, review service reports, and implement improvements to enhance service quality and reliability.

Day-to-day responsibilities include maintaining robust client relationships,



responding to escalated service requests, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction across all projects. The role also involves collaborating with sales and project teams, developing service processes, managing department budgets, and ensuring compliance with company standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications
Strong customer-focused skills, including Customer Satisfaction, Customer Service Management, and Customer Support.
Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret service data, troubleshoot complex issues, and optimize department performance.
Excellent Communication skills for coordinating with clients, technicians, and internal stakeholders.
Experience managing service operations in audiovisual, IT, or related technical fields.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, including team supervision, coaching, and performance management.
Solid understanding of commercial AV systems, installations, and maintenance practices.
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and maintain quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
Relevant vocational or tertiary qualification in audiovisual technology, electronics, or a related discipline is advantageous.
