Workfast is looking for experienced and licensed E&I; Commissioning Electricians to join our FIFO team at a major mine in Western Australia.

What you need:
Minimum 6 years’ commissioning experience
Strong Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I;) commissioning experience
Experience commissioning processing plants, fixed plant or crusher plants
Instrumentation qualifications/certificates with relevant hands-on experience
Experience with PLC systems, control systems and basic industrial networks
Experience with electrical and instrumentation testing, fault finding and commissioning
Functional safety testing experience preferred
Previous BHP WAIO experience preferred
WA A Grade Electrical Licence
White Card
CPR/LVR
Working at Heights
EWP over 11m
Valid passport or birth certificate
Solid understanding of commissioning documentation, testing and handover
Ability to mobilise within one week

About the Role:

You will be responsible for electrical and instrumentation commissioning activities across a major mining project,



working closely with commissioning, engineering and construction teams to safely test, fault-find and bring plant and equipment into operation. The role will involve pre-commissioning and commissioning of electrical, instrumentation, control and process systems, with a solid focus on safety, quality and meeting project schedules.
