Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced full-time Medical Receptionist to join our team of clinical and non-clinical staff. This role is crucial in providing exceptional administrative support and ensuring a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate will serve as a welcoming point of contact for patients, a trusted colleague, and a reliable support for our practitioners. A background in medical administration and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding patient care are essential. Hourly rate paid based on experience.

Key Responsibilities
Greet and welcome patients in-person and via phone in a friendly and skilled manner.
Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and ensure a seamless flow of operations.
Handle patient inquiries, assist with procedure bookings,



and address questions or concerns.
Support general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and record-keeping.
Collaborate with the clinical team as needed.

About You
Proficiency in Genie Solutions practice software (preferred).
Experience with WorkCover Queensland.
Exceptional customer service skills, with a skilled phone manner and polished presentation.
Strong commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and safeguarding sensitive information.
Personable, friendly, and professional demeanor.
Competent in using computer systems and software, with meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task, prioritize duties, and manage time efficiently while ensuring accuracy.
Capable of working both independently and as part of a cooperative team.
An interest in the plastic, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery fields is a plus.
