Role: Network Solution Architect
Location: Brisbane CBD - hybrid options
Duration: 12-month contract - possible extensions
About the Role:
We are seeking a Network Solution Architect to lead network modernisation, connectivity and telecommunications transformation initiatives. This is a hands‑on architecture role spanning strategy, design governance and delivery support across critical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities
Assess current-state network/connectivity/security and define future-state architecture, standards and roadmaps
Design/assure complex solutions across core network modernisation, Internet-first , Zero Trust , secure access, segmentation and resilience
Provide architectural governance, reference architectures, technical leadership and design reviews
Work closely with engineering and security teams to solve complex technical issues and support major delivery milestones/incident investigations

Required experience




Proven experience withsolution architecture (network-focused) in large/complex organisations
Solid enterprise networking background: routing/switching, WAN/LAN/SD-WAN, campus networks, internet edge
Cloud networking (hybrid settings), ideally Azure networking
Network security architecture: firewalls, proxies/web gateways, NAC, DNS security, Zero Trust/segmentation
Protocols/tech: TCP/IP, BGP , OSPF , MPLS , VXLAN/EVPN , DNS/DHCP, load balancing, HA/DR
Experience with Zscaler (highly regarded)
