About the role
The Legal Assistant will provide essential support to the legal team, focusing on billing, matter management, and client communication. This role is a parental leave cover, offering a contract until January 2027, with the possibility of extension.
Key responsibilities
Support the Partner and Executive Counsel with legal documentation and correspondence
Manage billing processes and ensure accurate matter management
Communicate effectively with clients, maintaining a client-focused approach
Collaborate with solicitors and other legal assistants to ensure productive workflow
Assist in administrative tasks as required, adapting to team needs.
Skills & experience
Proven experience in legal support, with a minimum of 2 years in a similar role
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
Ability to manage client relationships under pressure
Experience in a large firm is preferred but not mandatory
Open to candidates from various practice groups.
