About You
As aDiverse Learning Coordinator, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. The position is a 1-point promotional role, temporary for up to 3 years, however your teaching position will be full time and permanent. You'll bring:
expertise in Diverse Learning Needs, with additional teaching areas advantageous
engaging, rigorous, planned learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students
the ability and experience in developing individual learning plans that include learning adjustments, post-school support, enrolment in discrete or life skill courses, special provisions and work placement
a highly team-oriented approach and ability to build the collective and individual capacity of the Diverse Learning Support team
experience with programming and assessment design, reporting and feedback
data and evidence-based approaches to foster school improvement
exemplary classroom practice, utilising a range of effective contemporary pedagogies
proven ability to differentiate instruction, cater for the diverse needs of learners and personalise learning for students from Year 7 to Year 12
formative and summative assessments to drive student progress
a data-informed approach to setting challenging learning objectives and providing constructive feedback
ability to support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students
excellent classroom management skills focused on student well-being
strong classroom management and student well-being focus
ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
secondary education experience and qualifications in Diverse Learning Support
Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as perAccreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
