About the role

As our Accounts Officer, you will play a key role in keeping our day-to-day financial processes accurate, timely and well organised. Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will manage accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, debt collection, general ledger journals and month-end support.

Key responsibilities
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, payments, creditor documentation and general ledger journals.
Manage debt collection activities and credit applications in line with established procedures.
Reconcile bank and customer accounts, supplier statements, and investigate discrepancies.
Assist with month-end processes, end-of-period tasks and financial reporting.
Prepare correspondence and work confidently with Microsoft Word, Excel and ODOO accounting software.
Respond professionally to internal and external enquiries and support accounting processes across departments.

About you




Accuracy, accounts experience, organisation, effective communication, a solid cooperative spirit, and Microsoft Office skills.
Highly Regarded but not essential: Odoo experience and any relevant inventory, wholesale, or e-commerce background.
