We're excited to be partnering with a well-established national business operating across the industrial services sector to recruit a newly created Finance Manager.

Reporting to the CFO, his is a hands-on leadership role that will see you partnering closely with operational and commercial stakeholders, handling month end, financial reporting, business partnering, and providing financial oversight across business units to drive performance, profitability and growth.

The business is performing well - reliable, growing, and a leader in their respective market. It's rapid paced, diverse and interesting niche who is looking for a solid set of hands to manage day to day finance operations, and be a voice for further process improvement & optimisation across finance and operations.

The finance function are a well oiled machine. They help out as a team, and they want someone with the same ethos. Someone who is a hands on leader, uplifts those around them, and wants to immerse themself in the business and become the voice of financial clarity.

Key responsibilities include:




Managing month-end reporting, budgeting and forecasting
Delivering financial analysis and commercial insights
Leading cash flow management and financial planning activities
Partnering with operational leaders to drive business performance
Monitoring KPIs, profitability and cost-control initiatives
Managing compliance, statutory reporting and audit requirements
Leading and mentoring finance team members
Identifying process improvement and system enhancement opportunities

About You:
CA/CPA qualification (or nearing completion)
Previous experience as a Finance Manager or Senior Management Accountant ready to step up
Solid leadership and stakeholder management skills
Experience within equipment hire, construction, industrial services, manufacturing, logistics or asset-intensive industries
Budgeting, forecasting and business partnering experience
A proactive, hands-on approach and continuous improvement mindset
