Job Description
Develop and implement community engagement strategies to support organisational objectives.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective communication.
Organise and facilitate community consultations, workshops, and events.
Prepare and deliver transparent and engaging communication materials.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of engagement initiatives.
Build and maintain positive relationships with key community groups and stakeholders.
Provide advice and support on best practices for community engagement.
Ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Community Engagement Advisor should have:




Experience in community engagement or related roles within the public sector or industrial/manufacturing industry.
Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to plan and execute engagement initiatives.
Knowledge of relevant policies and frameworks for community engagement.
Proficiency in preparing reports and communication materials.
A cooperative approach to working with diverse groups and teams.
Valid Victorian drivers Licence
