Our client, The Furniture Trader, is currently seeking an experienced full time Retail Manager to oversee its retail operations. The position offers an annual salary of $75,000 to $85,000 plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience.

Located in Epping, Victoria, The Furniture Trader is a family-owned furniture retailer offering an extensive range of well-designed, on-trend and high-quality furniture to its customers.

Key responsibilities include:
Managing furniture ranges, stock levels and customer service standards.
Setting product pricing and coordinating purchasing and marketing activities.
Promoting furniture collections, special offers and showroom products.
Assisting customers with furniture selection, features and product suitability.
Maintaining accurate stock, sales and financial transaction records.




Preparing store budgets and monitoring operating costs and sales performance.
Recruiting, training, rostering and supervising retail staff.
Ensuring showroom operations comply with workplace health and safety requirements.
Managing furniture displays and maintaining an organised, appealing showroom.
Monitoring sales trends and customer demand to support stock decisions.
Coordinating customer orders, deliveries, returns and after-sales enquiries.

Qualifications:
Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Business or a relevant field.
Must have at least one (1) year of experience as a Retail Manager in Australia.
