About the role
We're looking for an experienced and ambitious GP Practice Manager to oversee our Myhealth Hampton and Myhealth Mentone practices.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who is ready to hit the ground running and take the lead across two busy, high-performing teams.
Myhealth Hampton is a busy practice with 18 GPs, while Myhealth Mentone is home to 10 GPs.
Both practices have strong teams and excellent reputations within their local communities.
As Practice Manager, you'll play a key role in overseeing the day‐to‐day operations of both practices, leading and developing established teams, driving continued growth and ensuring both practices continue to thrive.
You'll also have the support of our Area Managers, along with the wider Myhealth network, to help you succeed in the role.
This is a full‐time, Monday to Friday opportunity, with 4 days per week based at Hampton and 1 day at Mentone.
A day in the life:
Collaborating with lead doctors to ensure smooth operational workflows
Overseeing the day‐to‐day practice operations with a focus on quality care
Facilitating inductions and in‐house training sessions for new staff
Managing the diary scheduling system with the Clinical Team, including waitlist management and patient appointment coordination
Providing solution‐focused management to clinic operations and doctor queries
Leading a team with a hands‐on approach to problem‐solving and patient care




What we're looking for:Experience in GP practice management (min 2 years)
Confident in taking on leadership and senior administrative roles
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Experience in managing nursing and administration staff is preferred but not essential
Familiarity with Medicare, DVA, Work Cover, HICAPS, and Private Health Insurance billings preferred
Strong multitasking and prioritisation skills
A positive, can‐do attitude with a passion for enhancing patient experiences and practice operations
