Your new company Our client is a well established mining contractor currently seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters and Servicepersons to join their mobile maintenance team at a North Queensland mine site.
These are permanent full time opportunities offering attractive lifestyle rosters with Bus In Bus Out from Townsville.
Your new role Depending on your experience and trade background, you will join the site's mobile maintenance team supporting the servicing, maintenance and reliability of heavy mobile mining equipment.
You will work an 8/6 or 7/7 roster across days and nights, with BIBO transport from Townsville.
Heavy Diesel Fitter responsibilities willinclude:Diagnosticsand fault finding on heavy mobile mining equipmentBreakdown repairs andtroubleshootingScheduledservicing and preventative maintenanceRepairs and maintenance across mobile plantSupporting equipment reliability andavailabilityCompletingmaintenance in line with site and manufacturerrequirementsWorkingclosely with maintenance and production teamsRefuelling and servicing heavy mobile mining equipmentRefilling fuel, oil, water and other fluidsOperating and restocking service trucksCarrying out routine servicing andinspectionsAssistingthe maintenance team with mobile plant servicingGeneral maintenance and site duties as requiredAustralian recognised Heavy Diesel / Mobile Plant tradequalificationPreviousheavy mobile equipment experienceMining or heavy industry experience highly regardedStrong diagnostic and fault-finding skillsCurrent Driver LicenceStrong commitment to safety and qualityworkmanshipPreviousServiceperson / Sailor experienceMine site or heavy mobile equipment experience highly regardedCurrent HR Driver LicenceExperience operating service trucksStrong mechanical aptitudeStrong commitment to safe work practicesBe available to work rotating days and nightsMeet required medical and site compliance requirementsWork effectively as part of a site-based maintenanceteamPermanentCompetitivesalary packagesLifestyle rosterRotating days and nightsBIBO from TownsvilleLong term career opportunities within the mining industryWork with an established mining contractor
