Position – SystemAdministratorLocation- GP Care Eaglehawk, Bendigo VIC ****.Salary - $*****- $100,000About the roleReporting to the Director , you will be responsible for the design, security, maintenance and performance of our IT systems, including clinical and practice management software, patient data systems, servers, workstations and communications infrastructure across our clinics.KeyresponsibilitiesDesignand maintain database architecture, data structures, tables, dictionaries and naming conventions to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all data master files, including patient and practice management recordsEstablish and carry out preventive maintenance of backups and recovery procedures, and enforce security and integrity controls over sensitive healthinformationImplementand administer database documentation, guidelines, policies and proceduresTest database systems and upgrades, including debugging, tracking, reproducing, logging and resolving all identified problems in line with approved quality testing scripts, procedures and processesTake responsibility for the processes, procedures and operational management of system security and disaster recovery planning, so that clinical services can continue during outagesLiaise with security vendors, suppliers, service providers and external resources; analyse, recommend, install and maintain software security applications; and monitor contractual obligations, performance delivery and service levelagreementsTroubleshootand provide service support in diagnosing,



resolving and repairing server-related hardware and software faults, including workstations and communicationsinfrastructurePrepareand maintain documentation, policies and instructions, and record operational procedures and system logsEnsure the design of computer sites allows all components to fit together and work properly, and monitor and adjust networkperformanceRegularlyreview the current computer site to identify future network needs and recommend enhancements for future servers and networksAboutyouEssential:Bachelordegree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or at least five years of relevant experience in place of formalqualificationsDemonstratedexperience administering databases, servers and networks in a production environmentSound knowledge of backup, recovery and disaster recovery planningExperience with Windows Server, Active Directory / Microsoft 365, and SQL-baseddatabasesExperiencein network configuration, firewalls, endpoint security and performance monitoringStrong documentation skills and the ability to write clear policies andproceduresExperiencemanaging vendors and service level agreementsClear communication with non-technical staff, including clinicians and reception teamsWhat we offerCompetitive salary plussuperannuationOngoing,secure role in a growing healthcareorganisationProfessionaldevelopment supportHow to applySend your resume and a cover letter addressing the requirements above to Applicants must have the right to work in Australia.
