You will manage multiple teams, working mostly for government and commercial clients: councils, road, rail and water authorities, schools, aged care and commercial partners.
Our work centres on retaining healthy vegetation, with removal where it is needed.
About the role
As State Manager you will run Southeast, East, Centre, West, Commercial and Consulting as one operation: one way of working, one pool of crews and plant, one set of numbers.
What you will do
Set one operating standard across every area.
Statewide resourcing of crews, plant and subcontractors.
Build the pipeline of tenders, renewals and new clients, and lead operational input to tenders
Lead, coach and appraise managers and a consulting arborist.
Keep safety and our ISO management system working the same way in every area
What you will bring




Certificate III in Arboriculture (minimum); Diploma of Arboriculture or equivalent management experience
5+ years managing multi-crew arboricultural or civil field operations, including managing managers
A record of managing a P&L; or contract budgets.
Experience delivering and tendering for local government or utility contracts
Working knowledge of ISO ****, ***** and ***** and Victorian WHS obligations
Current First Aid, White Card, Working with Children Check, National Police Check and a full driver licence
