Queensland or Western Australia | Full-time | Remote with regular customer site travel
MaxMine sits at the intersection ofmining operations, technology and data.
We work alongside our customers to embed technology and data into the way their operations run, identify meaningful improvement opportunities and turn those opportunities into measurable results.
We're looking for anEngagement Managerto lead that relationship across a portfolio of customer sites.
This is a broad, high-trust role combiningcustomer leadership, operational improvement, technology adoption and analytics.
You'll work closely with customer teams to understand their priorities and operating environment, help them get the most from MaxMine, and connect the right people, technology and insights to move things forward.
About the role
As an Engagement Manager, you'll be the primary MaxMine contact for your assigned customer sites.
You'll work with stakeholders ranging from frontline users and operational teams through to technical specialists and senior customer leaders.
You'll understand their priorities, identify opportunities, improve adoption of MaxMine, and help translate data and insight into better operating outcomes.
You'll develop and maintain clear engagement plans for your sites, track priorities and actions, and ensure important customer context, risks and opportunities are visible to the wider MaxMine team.
The role combinescustomer leadership, operational understanding, data literacy, coaching and commercial awareness.
You'll spend meaningful time on site, but this is not a FIFO or rostered site role.
You'll be based from home and travel regularly to customer sites as required - typically around 5-10 days per month, depending on customer needs and agreed engagement plans.
The balance of your time will be spent working remotely with customers and MaxMine teams, preparing for site engagements, analysing performance,



coordinating actions and maintaining momentum between visits.
About you
You're comfortable working whereoperations, people and technology intersect.
You may come frommining engineering, technical services, dispatch, production, business improvement or mining technology.
Equally, you may have built your experience in another complex operational environment throughdigital transformation, operational technology, industrial analytics, technology project delivery, customer-facing SaaS or BI solutions.
Mining experience is highly advantageous, but it isn't the only path into this role.
What matters is your ability to understand how an operation works, build credibility with experienced stakeholders, interpret data and technology in context, and turn that understanding into action.
You can move comfortably between detailed operational or technical conversations and discussions with senior customer stakeholders.
You know when to listen, when to challenge, when to bring in specialist expertise and when to simplify the problem.
You'll likely be someone who:
Builds strong relationships and earns trust
Gets up to speed quickly in unfamiliar complex operational environments
Can independently interpret operational data, test assumptions and identify what actually matters
Understands how technology needs to fit into real-world workflows to create value
Communicates complex operational and technical issues clearly and practically

Can challenge constructively while maintaining strong relationships

Works effectively with limited supervision
Balances customer needs with commercial priorities and organisational constraints
Is adaptable across different sites, customers, industries and operating cultures
What you'll bring
We're looking for a combination ofcustomer capability, operational understanding and analytical thinking.
You'll likely have:
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Mining, Engineering, Business or a related discipline; or equivalent relevant industry experience
3+ years' experience in mining, heavy industry, operational technology, business improvement, digital transformation, industrial analytics or another relevant operational environment
Robust data literacy and the ability to translate analysis into practical insight
Experience engaging with multiple stakeholder groups in complex customer or operational environments
Strong facilitation, coaching and communication skills
Demonstrated ability to manage your own priorities and deliver outcomes with limited supervision
A valid Australian driver's licence
Unrestricted Australian working rights
Highly regarded experience includes:
Surface mining operations, particularly load and haul
Dispatch or control room operations
Fleet management systems
Operational improvement or productivity programs
Mining technology, operational technology or industrial SaaS
BI, analytics or digital transformation in complex operational environments
Technology adoption or behavioural change
Customer-facing delivery of technical or operational solutions
