Martin Metal Works is a family-owned fabrication and installation business working across quarry, concrete and industrial plant projects. We're looking for an experienced Draftsperson to join our team in Longwarry.
n
This is a diverse drafting role covering structural and mechanical projects. You'll need to be confident managing your own work while working closely with our workshop, site teams and clients.
The role n
Create 3D models and detailed drawings using
Autodesk Inventor
.
n
Develop drawings for plant upgrades, conveyors, bins, chutes, platforms and other fabricated equipment.
n
Work from engineering drawings, project requirements and site information.
n
Prepare explicit drawings and material information for fabrication and installation.
n
Work with the workshop and site teams to resolve practical design and fit-up issues.
n
Manage drawing revisions and meet project deadlines.
What we're looking for n
Strong,



proven experience with
Autodesk Inventor
.
n
Experience drafting structural or mechanical projects, ideally for industrial plant or fabrication.
n
Ability to work independently, take ownership of projects and solve problems.
n
Ability to work well as part of a team and communicate with tradespeople, project managers and clients.
n
Good attention to detail and an understanding of how drawings translate into fabricated work.
n
Ability to attend site and take accurate measurements would be a bonus.
n

Salary will be negotiated based on experience.
