This is a great opportunity for an existing apprentice looking for a change of environment, broader hands‐on experience or a supportive workshop where they can continue developing their skills.

You'll continue working towards your
AUR***** Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology
while gaining practical experience across a variety of vehicles, servicing, repairs, diagnostics and general automotive maintenance.

What You'll Be Doing
n
n
Your responsibilities will depend on your apprenticeship year, current skills and experience, and may include:
n
n
n
Vehicle servicing and scheduled maintenance.
n
n
Mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis.
n
n
Using diagnostic equipment and workshop technology.
n
n
Brake, steering and suspension repairs.
n
n
Engine and mechanical component repairs.
n
n
Removing and replacing worn or damaged components.
n
n
Vehicle inspections, testing and safety checks.
n
n
Working across a variety of vehicle makes and models.
n
n
Reading and following manufacturer specifications and repair procedures.
n
n
Safe and correct use of hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment.
n
n
Maintaining professional workshop and safety standards.
n
n
As you progress through your apprenticeship, you'll continue taking on more complex repairs and greater responsibility under the guidance of qualified technicians.
Who We're Looking For
n
n




We're looking for an apprentice who has already commenced their Light Vehicle Mechanical apprenticeship and is motivated to continue building their automotive career.
n
You'll ideally have:
n
n
n
Current enrolment in a
Light Vehicle Mechanic apprenticeship
as a 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Apprentice.
n
n
Previous hands‐on automotive workshop experience.
n
n
A genuine passion for cars and the automotive industry.
n
n
A hands‐on and mechanically minded approach.
n
n
A strong work ethic and willingness to continue learning.
n
n
Reliability and punctuality.
n
n
Valuable attention to detail.
n
n
The ability to listen, take direction and apply feedback.
n
n
The ability to work effectively within a workshop team.
n
n
A current driver's licence
(P1 or above preferred)
.
n
n
Reliable transport to
Kilmore, VIC
.

Your previous apprenticeship training and experience can be recognised, allowing you to
continue progressing towards your AUR***** qualification without starting your apprenticeship again
