KEY DUTIES n
n
Provide person-centred personal care and daily-living support
n
Support safe manual handling, transfers and mobility
n
Assist with medication and agreed care routines
n
Support community access, appointments and participation
n
Complete accurate progress notes and communicate with the care team
n
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS n
n
Minimum two years' disability or complex-care experience
n
Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Aged Care, Health Care or a related qualification
n
Current First Aid and CPR
n
Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or relevant state clearance
n
Current manual-handling and medication-administration certification
n
Driver licence,
reliable transport and appropriate vehicle insurance where client transport is required
n
Australian work rights
n
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE OR LICENCES n
n
ABI, TBI or behavioural-support experience
n
Bowel, catheter, PEG, epilepsy or other complex-care experience
n
Working With Children Check where required
n
Experience working within a 24/7 home-care team
n
SHIFT AND AVAILABILITY n
Regular day shifts and ongoing roster patterns may be available. Include the days, hours and travel radius you can commit to each week.
INDICATIVE MARKET PAY n
$40-$45 per hour + super Based on live advertised rates reviewed September ****. The actual rate will depend on the employer, award or agreement, employment type, duties, shift, penalties and overtimeent.
