About the role: n
Our Corridor Maintenance South West team currently have a permanent vacancy for a Facilities Maintainer. You will start and finish work at Beenleigh Depot and work as part of a team to conduct corridor vegetation control and grounds maintenance and various station precincts,



rail corridor and other QR owned sites throughout the network.
Day-to-day responsibilities of this role will include: n
n
Be present for daily briefings including important safety information
n
Use of a work tablets to review and complete work orders
n
Complete mowing, whipper snipping, hedging, and various other vegetation control management, graffiti removal, litter removal, pressure cleaning, etc
n
Travel between sites throughout the network
n
About you: n
n
Previous experience of conducting vegetation control including the use of whipper-snippers, mowers (preferably zero turn) and other grounds maintenance & small plant & equipment
n
Ability to work autonomously
n
Excellent communication skills – written and verbal
n
MR licence highly regarded
n
