Location: Primarily Pinjarra (minimum 3 days onsite, preference for 5 days onsite). Flexibility to work from the Booragoon office.

Rate: $90-$105 per hour + Super

Duration: Initial 12-month contract with strong extension potential

Deliver a $250M Major Capital Project Chandler Macleod is seeking a Project Engineer to join a Global Mining Major Projects Team supporting the Pinjarra Residue Filtration Phase 2 Project, a major brownfield capital project valued at approximately $250 million.
n
Working within an embedded project delivery team, you will support construction execution, commissioning activities and project closeout across a significant refinery expansion program through to early ****.
n
This prospect is ideal for an engineer who has progressed beyond a graduate program and gained experience delivering capital projects within mining, minerals processing, refining, manufacturing, energy or heavy industrial environments.

Key Responsibilities n
n
Support project delivery from construction through commissioning and handover
n
Coordinate contractors,



suppliers and site-based execution activities
n
Assist with scope development, project planning and work package delivery
n
Track project actions, risks, schedules and project performance metrics
n
Support project reporting, forecasting and stakeholder communication
n
Contribute to technical query management and project documentation
n
Assist with subcontractor coordination and construction management activities
n
Work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers and operational stakeholders
n
What We're Looking For n
n
Engineering Degree (Mechanical, Electrical or related discipline)
n
3-6 years total engineering experience
n
Minimum 2 years Project Engineering experience following completion of a graduate program
n
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
n
Project coordination, scheduling and reporting experience
n
Ability to work confidently within a live operational plant environment
n
Highly Regarded n
n
Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background
n
Fixed plant project experience
n
Construction execution and commissioning exposure
n
Brownfield capital project delivery
n
Mining, refining, processing, manufacturing or heavy industry experience
n
Owner's team or EPCM project experience
n
