We're a small but growing business looking for an experienced and proactive
Bookkeeper
who's keen to do more than just balance the books.

This is a
casual role to start
, with the potential to increase hours over time. Ideal for someone who is returning to the workforce and wants flexibility but is also looking for a long-term chance to grow with the business.

About the Role
n
n
Bank reconciliations and general ledger maintenance
n
Accounts payable and receivable
n
Payroll processing and superannuation
n
BAS preparation and lodgment support
n
Management reporting support
n
Spreadsheet development and data analysis (Excel)
n
Assisting with reporting and financial admin
n
Suggesting and implementing process improvements
n
n
As a small business ourselves, we are keen to hire someone who is also interested in helping us with our own internal processes, including assisting with Social Media content and posting
n




To be successful in this role, you'll be:

Qualified
– Minimum
Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and Accounting
n
Experienced
– Ideally 2+ years in a similar role
n
Tech-savvy
– Proficient with
Xero and MYOB
and confident in
Microsoft Excel
n
Independent
– Able to work without day to day supervision
n
Solutions-focused
– You see problems as puzzles, not roadblocks
n
Trustworthy & detail-oriented
– Accuracy matters to you
n
Growth-minded
– Keen to take on more responsibility over time
n
