DBD is seeking BusinessAnalysts to join a multi-disciplinary team to perform analysis on how digitalservices and products being developed can better meet the user needs. TheBusiness Analysts will work closely with the Program Manager and Product Managerand relevant business areas, and external users to develop high value digitalservices and products, keeping our users in their needs at theforefront.
Requirements
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Engaging with ourinternal and external users,
business areas to understand and capture userand business needs and identify opportunities (short and/or long-termtransformation) for the future state.
Work closely withsolution architects to design solution that fit within the architecturestandards for the program, and how the design might contribute to thefuture state.
Supporting userengagement throughout the different phases of Discovery, Alpha, Beta andLive; including the provision of ongoing business and technicaladvice.
Convert theconceptual/theoretical model of a service/product, into technically soundproduct features.
Write userstories/PBIs for development, maintain alignment with features,dependencies within stories; help guide the sequence of development andperform acceptance testing of the implemented PBIs.
Develop contentfor business consumption, translating technical solutions/features intosimple, effective manner, suitable for wider businessconsumption
Communicatingfuture system requirements to software developers and assisting in systemdesign.
Collaborate withuser researchers and stakeholders to form the bigger strategicpicture.
Required Skills and Experience
Extensiveexperience in business analysis for large scaletransformations
Demonstrableexperience in solving complex problems based on evidence, analysis andinvestigation.
Strong trackrecord working in agile and multi-disciplinary teams
Human CentredDesign approach to service delivery
Documentingfunctional and non-functional requirements
The ability tocommunicate effectively with technical and non-technicalaudiences.
Influencing andguiding decisions with senior stakeholders
Excellentknowledge and experience in creating quality visual materials e.g. goals,objectives, problems and vision.
Collaborative teamplayer
Excellentcommunicator in both written and verbal form.
Relevant tertiaryqualifications
Desirable Qualifications
Experience workingon large‐scale government or highly regulated digital programs
