About the role
Whitton Malt House is a busy regional dining, accommodation and events venue between Leeton and Griffith, running à la carte service alongside functions and events. Set on beautiful grounds, our restaurant showcases local Riverina produce. We're looking for a qualified chef who is passionate about food and can confidently hold a section and deliver consistent, high-quality food.
Key responsibilities
Prepare and deliver quality food across à la carte, functions, and events
Run a section through prep,



service and pack down as part of the team
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards
Rotate and label stock, minimise waste, and keep storage areas organised
Follow standardised recipes for prep and dish presentation
About you
Qualified chef (Cert III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent) with experience from Demi Chef through to Sous Chef level
Confident holding a section through busy services and large functions
Calm and organised under pressure and able to step up and lead when required
A strong work ethic, with a consistent record of punctuality and reliability
Clear communicator who works well as part of a team
Valuable availability, including weekends
Current driver's licence (venue is out of town)
