The Opportunity An excellent opportunity is available for experienced
Consultant Obstetricians & Gynaecologists
to join a well-established public hospital within a major metropolitan health service in
Western Australia
.

The service is seeking to appoint
two permanent Consultants, totalling 2.0 FTE
, with genuine flexibility around employment arrangements.
n
Full-time, fractional, part-time and sessional options will be considered.

About the Role Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality specialist Obstetric and Gynaecological care to a large and growing community.
n

Providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient Obstetrics & Gynaecology services
n
Providing clinical leadership across the service
n
Promoting patient safety and high standards of clinical care
n
Contributing to clinical governance and continuous quality improvement
n
Supervising, educating and supporting doctors in training
n
Supporting the professional development of other healthcare professionals
n
Working closely with the Head of Department and fellow Consultants
n
Contributing to service planning and development
n
Supporting the achievement of clinical and operational standards
n
n
The position provides the chance to contribute to the continued development of a busy specialist service within a supportive medical environment.

About You Applicants will be experienced Obstetricians & Gynaecologists who are committed to delivering safe, high-quality specialist care.

You will hold, or be eligible to obtain:

Specialist registration with the Medical Board of Australia
n
FRANZCOG
or an equivalent specialist qualification recognised in Australia
n
Appropriate clinical credentials and scope of practice in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
n
A commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork and patient-centred care
n
Strong communication and clinical leadership skills
n
An interest in education, supervision and service development
n
