The Role
n
We are currently seeking a Senior Structural Technician / Drafter to join our North Sydney team. The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of various building and infrastructure projects across NSW.
n
Your duties will include, but will not be limited to, the following:
n
n
Drafting and delivery of building and infrastructure projects using AutoCAD and Revit
n




Ensuring that analysis and design tasks undertaken meet appropriate technical standards and the requirements of the client and Robert Bird Group
n
Delivering projects within strict timeframes while ensuring quality performance meets Robert Bird Group's objectives
n
Liaising with the engineering team, external stakeholders and clients regarding project specifications and details
n
About You
n
n
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Civil/Structural Design or equivalent
n
5+ years of structural drafting experience working for an engineering design consultancy
n
Strong understanding of AutoCAD and Revit
n
Proven experience in delivering building and infrastructure projects
n
Demonstrated ability to consistently utilise strong time management skills, with the ability to plan workloads and meet deadlines
n
Strong understanding of Australian codes and standards
n
Able to work on your own initiative and in a team workplace
