A large, established food manufacturing business is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Electrician to join its engineering and maintenance team in Wodonga.

This is a substantial manufacturing operation employing approximately 400 people, with significant recent investment in plant and automation, including approximately $40 million invested in a new automated warehouse.

The role will suit a hands‐on industrial electrician with strong electrical and PLC fault-finding skills who is comfortable working across automated production equipment in a fast‐paced manufacturing environment.

The Role n

Electrical fault finding and breakdown response
n
n
Planned and preventative maintenance
n
n
PLC fault finding and diagnostics
n




n
Maintenance of automated production equipment
n
n
Work across motors, sensors, controls, VSDs and associated electrical systems
n
n
Identify faults and minimise production downtime
n
n
Support plant reliability and continuous improvement
n
n
Work closely with production and the broader maintenance team
n
What We're Looking For n
n
n
Qualified Electrician
n
n
Strong industrial maintenance background
n
n
Demonstrated electrical fault‐finding capability
n
n
PLC fault‐finding experience
n
n
Experience working with automated production equipment
n
n
Experience with motors, sensors, controls and VSDs
n
n
Preventative and breakdown maintenance experience
n
n
Food, meat, beverage or other high‐volume manufacturing experience highly regarded
n
n
You do not need to be a PLC programmer, but you should be comfortable fault finding PLC‐controlled equipment and diagnosing electrical and controls‐related issues.
Roster n
The maintenance team operates across a rotating shift structure, including:

4:00am – 12:00pm
n
n
6:00am – 2:00pm
n
