Our client, a government agency, is seeking an experienced Agile Scrum Master to drive the successful delivery of complex ICT programs within a secure environment based in Canberra, ACT. This 12-month initial engagement offers an exciting opportunity to facilitate high-performing Agile teams and promote continuous improvement across multiple projects.
Key Responsibilities: n
n
Build and maintain effective relationships with technical and business stakeholders to support collaboration and transparency.
n
Prepare and present Agile delivery metrics and reports for governance forums and steering committees.
n
Essential Skills and Experience: n
n
Proven leadership in Agile delivery within complex ICT projects.
n
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across organisational levels.
n




Experience coaching teams on Agile principles to foster self-organising, cross-functional teams.
n
Expertise in risk and dependency management impacting delivery.
n
Proficiency with Agile frameworks like Scrum and Kanban and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
n
Ability to analyse and apply Agile metrics to enhance team performance.
n
Highly Desirable: n
n
Experience in Federal Government or ICT project delivery.
n
Supporting multiple ICT delivery projects simultaneously.
n
Understanding of governance and reporting in secure environments.
n
n
