Operations and customer service - Transport n
This is a hands-on role combining freight operations, quoting and customer service.
Key responsibilities n
Booking and coordinating local, regional and interstate freight
n
Preparing freight quotes and responding to customer enquiries
n
Selecting suitable carriers and transport solutions for each job
n
Liaising with customers, drivers, carriers and depots
n
Tracking deliveries and providing customers with updates
n
Managing urgent deliveries and resolving transport issues
n
Entering bookings and maintaining accurate job information
n
Following up outstanding or delayed freight
n
Assisting with general day-to-day transport operations
n
Building strong relationships with our customers and transport partners
n
Knowledge of
local transport, pallet freight, regional distribution or interstate freight
would be a strong advantage.
