The Role n
You'll take ownership of a portfolio of clients and be responsible for:
n
n
Preparing and reviewing financial statements and income tax returns
n
Managing client relationships and responding to client queries
n
Delivering tax advice and practical solutions
n
Assisting with tax planning and business advisory projects
n
Identifying opportunities to improve client outcomes
n
Reviewing and supporting the work of junior team members
n
Managing workflow, deadlines and WIP effectively
n
Contributing to process improvements as the firm grows
n
About You n
Ideally, you'll have:
n
n
5+ years experience in public practice accounting
n
Strong technical tax knowledge across companies, trusts, partnerships and individuals
n
Experience with GST, Capital Gains Tax, Division 7A and FBT
n
Strong client communication and relationship skills
n
The ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
n
A proactive mindset and desire to continually improve
n
CA or CPA qualification (or underway) is ideal but not essential
n
n
Most importantly, you'll be someone who genuinely cares about people, enjoys helping clients succeed, and wants to be part of a collaborative team.
