An opportunity for an experienced SAP technology leader to take ownership of the supply chain technology function within a complex, national organisation. You will build strong partnerships across Supply Chain and IT while leading the delivery of technology improvements that support operational efficiency and business outcomes.

This 12-month contract offers broad responsibility across SAP S/4HANA, decentralised EWM, SAP Ariba and SAP IBP. You will connect business priorities with technology delivery, manage vendor relationships and help shape continuous improvement across a large application environment.
n
Based in Clayton, VIC or Preston, VIC, the role requires a minimum of four days per week in the office and may involve some travel within Australia.
This is: what you'll do n
n
Lead the SAP IT Supply Chain functional area across operational and strategic priorities.
n
Build trusted relationships with stakeholders across logistics, direct procurement, demand planning and supply planning.
n
Deliver continuous improvement and enhancement initiatives across SAP S/4HANA, EWM, Ariba and IBP.
n
Ensure solution designs align with broader Supply Chain and IT strategies.
n
Support the development of business cases and adherence to project governance requirements.
n
Manage the relationship with outsourced application support and maintenance partners.
n
Collaborate with technology teams supporting Azure, Snowflake and Power BI data and reporting capabilities.
n
Drive a continuous improvement culture focused on efficiency, service delivery and cost reduction.
n
Oversee team goals, mentoring, recruitment activities, vendor performance and mandatory training compliance.
n
Support effective risk management,

This is: what you'll need n
n
Experience leading an SAP or enterprise supply chain technology function.
n
At least one full-cycle, end-to-end SAP implementation or substantial SAP run and BAU experience.
n
Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA and related SaaS products, including SAP IBP.
n
Practical experience with decentralised SAP EWM and a sound understanding of its architecture and processes.
n
Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering, business analysis and process mapping.
n
Strong analytical, problem-solving and planning capability.
n
Ability to translate technical concepts clearly for business and technology stakeholders.
n
Experience managing teams, vendors and outsourced support relationships.
n
Confident written and verbal communication skills.
n
A tertiary qualification in business, supply chain or IT, relevant leadership experience, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
n
Power BI or pharmaceutical industry experience will be valued.
n
